The Scandinavian Research Council for Criminology provides Research Grants for 2012 to projects of Nordic criminological relevance. Applicants for individual projects can apply for up to 30 000 EUR and applicants for joint Nordic projects can apply for up to 90 000 EUR. The joint Nordic projects must comprise three Nordic countries and involve researchers from at least two of these countries. 

In 2012 the Council celebrates its 50th anniversary. On this occasion, the Council announces a Fellowship of up to 50 000 EUR. The fellowship is intended for researchers who have completed their PhD in criminology or related fields within the last two years or submit their dissertation no later than 1 March 2012. The project must be of Nordic relevance.
