A Nordic Expert Seminar on How Nordic Prisons Deal with Prisoners’ Use and Abuse of Alcohol and Drugs Helsinki, 22–23 November 2007
The Nordic Council of Ministers and the Finnish Ministry of Justice is together with NAD (Nordic Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research) and the National Research Institute of Legal Policy arranging this Nordic expert seminar.
The aim of the seminar is to produce comparative Nordic information about the alcohol and drug abuse problem in the Nordic prisons and to compare the welfare systems in the Nordic prison and probation services. The main focus will be on the developments after 1980 to this day.
The information gathered will be of use for practitioners and academics in the Nordic countries and beyond.
