A seminar for PhD students in criminology from the Nordic countries will be organized in Oslo in November 2023. The PhD seminar will be held Thursday noon to Friday noon (November 9-10). The event will be held at the Department of Criminology and Sociology of Law at the University of Oslo, Domus Juridica, Room 8113.

Participating PhD fellows are expected to give a short presentation of their dissertation project during the seminar, and will have the opportunity to meet fellow PhD fellows from other Nordic countries. Possible themes for the seminar as well as other activities (e.g. roundtable discussions, excursion et cetera), will be decided once the application date has passed.

The Nordic Research Council for Criminology covers travel and lodging expenses for participants.
